From what I understand it can take 6 weeks before a sac is detectable on a vaginal ultrasound. If there is no sac at 6-7 weeks there is reason for concern.

You wouldn't normally see a sac on ultrasound until about 5 weeks. Sounds normal.

No you couldn't to see a yolk sac you would need to be approx 5-6 weeks pregnant which is 3-4 weeks after conception.

Don't stress out! With my 2nd baby I had the same thing. I was convinced that I was going to miscarry. I had another ultrasound at 6 weeks and at that time all they saw was the sac, then finnaly at 8 weeks we got to see that little peanut.
