The United States would lose a great founding document but the country would still continue to function. It is next to impossible that anything would happen to this document since it is stored in a highly secure, temperature/climate controlled safety/bullet proof glass vault. The text in known and recorded in numerous forms in probably every library and history classroom in the nation. The ideals espoused are greater than the actually physical document its written on.
