I have encountered this problem in a standard 2.0 Mondeo. Basically, I have found that when the seat back is folded forward, with the mechanism in a horizontal plane (as opposed to a vertical plane), the release mechanism will not operate. This is extremely annoying as you you cannot then lift the seat back into the upright position as the jammed mechanism won't allow it. The answer is to pull the seat squab forward to access the seatbelt mounting bolt. Undo the mounting (you really need an appropriate sized torx spanner for this, but I found an Allen key worked OK). You can then raise the seatback and this releases the mechanism, and you can then reconnect the mounting. What you need to do now is to put a stop in the seatbelt (I've used a safety pin temporarily) to make sure the seatbelt does not reel in when you next lower the seat back. Hope this helps!
yes
After checking if your local mechanic can order in a Mondeo ST24, the next best place to go is online. eBay Motors has a great range of all different kinds of parts.

try pressing the lock button twice and holding it down on the 2nd press, thats what i have to do on mine
probably duff locks, mondy locks are know for it, ive had to replace 2, infact im doin one now, 2nd hand spares can be picked up for about £10-15 and they take about 45mins to fit - quite easy
yes mate it will no modifications will be needed at all. the zetec -s body kit fits directly onto mk1 and mk2 mondeo's |The "Zetec S" bumper will fit the zetec engined models but will not fit the V6 as the exhaust exit for the V6 is on the right hand side. So in a nutshell Zetec S (RSAP) rear bumper will fit the 2.0, 1.8 & 1.6 models (exhaust on left) and the ST24 (RSAP) bumper will fit the V6 (exhaust on right) It also depends on model of car. Only the Saloon and Hatchback are interchangeable, the estate bumpers are completley different Hope it helps :-)
The knock sensor is under the intake manifold between the heads toward the rear of the engine.
Carefully pry out the elongated clock on the dash with a flat blade. A butter knife will work. It reveals 2 screws which you take out. Carefully pry out the short plastic air flow direction thingy to the side of the instrument panel wich will reveal 1 screw which you take out. Then there's a screw on the left and right side of the exposed housing of the instrument panel where you would reach thru to touch the instrument pael clear plastic clover and the screws im talking about are on sides. You'll have to use a flashlight to see them as they're not exposed. When these 5 screws are removed, simply use the flat blade to gently ease the panel out.
