What if the person that is emotionally bullying you is your best friend and you were the problem?

If you are being bullied the important thing to realize is you are NEVER the problem. The bully is always the problem, no matter what anyonetells you. Bullies want you believe that you are the reason you are being bullied, its one of the ways they control their victims.
If the person bullying you is the person you consider your best friend, then they really are not a friend at all.
I cannot tell you how to deal with this situation in any way that will be certain to work. I myself was bullied all 12 years I went to school and exhausted everything I could think of, everything my parents could think of, everything my grandfather could think of, etc... nothing stopped them, some things did work for a short time but then the backlash came from the bullies just making it worse than if I had done nothing. Teachers often made it worse, having seen only my reaction to the bully and not a thing the bully did first, refusing to even listen to any explanation I tried to make.
Assuming this bully is really your friend and doesn't realize how they are hurting you, try confronting them on it. If you are lucky they might repent and really be your friend. If they refuse... you don't need that kind of "friend". But don't expect any miraculous change...

yea i know how you feel especially if you love that person with all your heart. But realize this. Bullying isn't good and is dangerous especially is he/she is physically hurting that person. But as long as he/she isn't physically bullying you or even bullying you with "words" than i wouldn't worry about it but i would tell him/her how you feel about them bullying kids.

Bullying is a very serious problem in schools worldwide. Every school has some form of bullying, and it is unavoidable. I believe teachers need to be trained to deal with bullying better, as many simply ignore it rather than acting upon what they see. Generally private schools have less bullying than public schools, but they still have the problem. Being bullied as a child affects a person for the rest of their life, and can lead them to depression and perhaps eventually suicide.

It depends on the context. If you said this to a friend in a joking manner, it would normally not be considered as bullying. Your friend may feel hurt, but it would not bullying. However, if you have said this multiple times in a threatening manner, it would be considered bullying.

There is physical and verbal bullying... cyder bullying is verbal bullying but the person doesn't know who you are. This can be easily done on facebook, instant messaging and email if you create an account. My friend was constantly getting message telling her to kill herself and we reported it to the police... they solved the whole problem!
