As far as I know a 17 year old actually has to go to court to become emancipated. ANd how many 17 yr olds do you know that has that kind of money. I do agree however that there are no services for 17 yrs old and Changing Course Foundation would like to change that. We have develpoed a program and are beginning to look for funding to start a home for 17 yr olds that have no place to go. We will offer, job services, education if needed and a home for these you until they reach 18 or have secured a good place to live their education and a job that can support them. If you would like to help go to www.changingcoursefdn.com for more information or to make a tax deductible donation to this non-profit look on GuideStar.org (to see that we are legitimate and mail donations to P O Box 1646 Cedaur Hill, TX. 75106 or go the the website and email us for more information. Legally, a 17-year-old is still considered a minor. However, if a 17-year-old has no place to live except on their own, they may be considered emancipated or a "self-sufficient minor" in some jurisdictions. This status grants them certain rights typically reserved for adults. It's advisable to consult with a legal professional for guidance on the specific laws and options available in the relevant jurisdiction.
Legally, parents can ask a 20-year-old to leave the house if they are not providing financial support, but the exact laws vary depending on the location. It's important to check local laws and communicate openly with your family to find a resolution that works for everyone.
No it is not legal to move out at 16. Until you are an adult, your parents determine where you live.
They can if you have permission from your parents. Otherwise, you will have to wait until you are an adult, which is usually 18.
Certainly not, until you are an adult, they are responsible for you. That would be 18 and until then they determine where you live.
If the parents give consent he can. As a minor he will need their consent for moving out. They are still responsible for what he is doing.

You would have to have an adult with you, but local animal shelters will except volunteers anytime.

No, not if it pertains to the cohabitation of a minor and an unrelated adult.
Yes, emancipated means you have to live like an adult. Your parents will no longer be obligated to support you. There are usually more requirements than that.
A 19 year old can legally live with a 28 year old. Once a person turns 18, they become a legal adult and are at the age of consent.
An eighteen year old is an adult and can live wherever he or she chooses. A custody order has no bearing on this.
An 18 year old is an adult. They can choose where they want to live.
San Diego is a great place to live!
It can take place at any time except yiu can only witness/ hold it once a year.
You are never accused as anything except a human. Can you be tried as an adult for burglary? Absolutely! You can be tried as an adult if they believe you could tell the difference from right and wrong and you knew you were doing wrong. About the youngest I have ever seen get tried as an adult is a 14 year old.
