Maybe your gift or card got lost in the mail or delayed. Give him the benefit of the doubt- he did say Happy Valentine's and he loved you.
Call him, and give him a kiss through the phone or send him a cute message and a sweet picture that has something to do with Valentines Day.
If he is far away it might be understandable that he didn't send anything but if it is bugging you I think you should ask him why he didn't. That way you will know instead of driving yourself mad worrying why he didn't.
Send him something he likes for instance if he likes the band Linkin Park get him a Linkin Park t- shirt or CD
Ask him
Anything with relative distance to the measuring distance. Such as a shadow to a building.
Because distance/time = the speed at which something travels.
There is no doubt that at least one Saint Valentine existed, in fact, there are about 14 recognized by the Church. Confusion arises because two of these Valentines suffered martyrdom in Rome about the same time under Roman Emperor Claudius II Gothicus. One was a priest working in Rome and the second was Valentine the Bishop of Interamna, Terni, in Italy, who happened to be in Rome on Church business at the time. Their lives had become so intertwined and embellished by hagiographers over the years that it became impossible to separate them and the stories circulating. What was truth and what was legend? In 1969, due to this confusion, Saint Valentine was removed from the Calendar of Saints. His cult has not been suppressed so veneration is still allowed. However, any saint undergoing martyrdom for their faith is most worthy of veneration even if the whole story remains shrouded in mystery and legend. And, yes, Valentine, whichever saint he was, had to have been a good person or he would not have the title 'saint.'
Time is not dependent upon anything. Time is what it is. However, the amount of time necessary for something to happen IS dependent upon the amount of energy put into it, the amount of mass it is happening to and the distance across which it is happening.
it can be like the earth round the sun, the moon round the earth, the lines in the middle of a road, anything that's a constant distance away from something.
Work is something that is done when a force moves an object over a distance.
Should talk to her about stuff that could comfort her, whatever comforts her for that matter. Something that could be of use at least, ANYTHING is helpful at this point since it's long-distance.
You can't. Work is (force) times (distance), so you have to know something about the force. Just knowing the mass doesn't tell you anything about the force ... unless there's actually something else about the mass that you've overlooked.
