You would have to file this under your collision coverage. Depending on your insurance provider, they will list the accident as a no fault accident. More than likely, you will have to pay your deductible.

Who pays when a parked car is hit by another car that was hit for a running away car?

I believe you are saying one care is parked and is hit by another car that leaves the scene of the accident. If your vehicle has uninsured motorist coverage then the UM coverage will pay to repair your vehicle less your deductible. If later a witness or the offender turns himself in and your company had already paid, the other party will reimburse the insurance company and they will reimburse you for your deductible.

If your parked car is hit in a school parking lot by an uninsured motorist what action can you expect from your own insurance company?

It depends on what sort of coverage you have on the vehicle. If you are fully insured, then the insurance will pay the damages minus your deductible. If not, you are on your own and will have to try to get the other party to pay for the damages. If your insurance pays, you can still sue the other party for the amount of your deductible.

What if someone hits my car while parked and i don't have car insurance?

Several things can happen. Allowing you parked legally other than insurance: the person who hit your parked car is responsible to pay damage. If you were parked on private property the lack of insurance means nothing. If you were parked on a public road or public parking lot you could be on the hook for a ticket for uninsured vehicle, but the other guy should pay anyway. Don't admit to driving with out insurance!

Whose fault is it if an uninsured driver slides down a snowy unplowed driveway into the illegally parked car of the homeowner?

The fact that the car was illegally parked doesn't matter. The driver of the moving car was responsible to adjust their driving to the road conditions, and to ensure it was safe to proceed. This accident will be the fault of the uninsured driver.

My parked car has full coverage and was hit by an uninsured driver?

tell your insurance company and the police and your insurance company will pay everything except the deductible. If you have full coverage than your insurance is required to make good on the damage. It is up to your insurance company to try and get their money back from the uninsured driver of the other vehicle.
