If your period starts in public then firstly you can buy tampons or pads, either from a store or most public bathrooms have vending machines with tampons and pads. Otherwise you can ask your friends or another woman in the bathroom if they have any tampons or pads you can use. If there's no other option then you can simply use folded up toilet paper in your underwear until you can get supplies.
If this happens don't panic! If your sister or mum or a best friend is with you ask her if she has any. If not you can always run to the nearest bathroom and using a few squares of toilet roll.
This happened to me before, if there's no one to talk to just get some toilet paper and wrap it firmly around your underwear. Wrapping it around would keep it in place. If you have a sweater or jacket, wrap it around your waist so no one notices. Hope this helps ;)
You just have to use pads/tampons. Its the same as what everybody does, Dont worry about the blood, its supposed to happen.
You Dont Have To Wear A Pad If you arent on your Period. But it is always good to carry pads or tampons with you in your bag
Dont Ever Eat Tampons
u dont have too be any amount of weight before ur period it can happen when ur even 7 or u could get it when ur 50 who knows
Tampons can be worn anytime you have sufficient flow - except overnight while sleeping, or if you have a vaginal infection. You cannot wear pads for swimming as the blood won't flow down to the pad, the pad would be saturated with water so unable to absorb blood, plus the pad would come off.To swim on your period you can use tampons, soft tampons, menstrual sponges, menstrual cups, diaphragms, or softcups - menstrual cups are by far the best option, in general and for swimming.
No, you can not practice using a tampon unless you are menstruating. If you decide to do this, though, just put it in and take it out as soon as you can because if you leave a tampon in when you are not menstruating the tampon would be left in your body, dry, and would leave bacteria behind which can lead to TSS, toxic shock syndrome. If you dont know what it is, look it up and find out.
i really dont know...isnt it normal to eat bloody tampons
No, absolutely not.Tampons are dry and absorbent, where as the vagina is moist and delicate - tampons dry-out vaginal tissues causing splitting and ulceration, without menstrual flow this will be far more severe than normal. Using tampons without sufficient flow would significantly increase the risk of TSS as damage to vaginal tissues give TSST-1 toxins a more direct route into your bloodstream. Using tampons without lubrication would also make tampon use very uncomfortable.Only ever use tampons with full flow - never when not menstruating or with light flow.
If it is your first time, just calm down, breath, clear your mind and put on some relaxing music. If you are a teenage girl, try a junior or slim tampon. It is important that you keep calm! There is nothing to worry about! Just remember to stay calm. If you mess up just take it out and start again. If it gets stuck (DONT WORRY THIS IS UNLIKELY) then try and wetting your vagina with water or waiting a bit longer for your tampon to fill up. If you have any problems, talk to your doctor, friends, mum, sisters, anyone who you trust.
A tampon should not be slipping out - if used correctly the tampon should sit above the narroest part of the vaginal canal, both this and vaginal muscle tone will keep the tampon in place - if tampons are slipping out you need to discuss this with your doctor. If tampons dont work for you then you should consider using pads or other similar external options like period underwear, belts or interlabial pads, you may also still be able to use internal options like sponges, soft tampons, softcups or menstrual cups.
yes because when youre on your period you dont bleed constantly it starts and stops but dont take your pad off because you will start bleeding again and it may get on you clothes
A girl should wear whenever she feels comfortable with - it's personal preference. There are more options than just tampons or pads, many active women prefer menstrual cups as they're internal like tampons but safe so unlike tampons can be worn with light flow, for up to 12 hours, they don't increase cramps like tampons can, and don't leak like tampons or pads. If you prefer external options try cloth pads which won't make you sweaty or rub against you as you run, period underwear are another good option as they feel just like normal underwear.
