Some creditors will not do voluntary repo's because the collateral is not worth what the repo process costs them. I do recommend that you send them a letter certified stating you request the vehicle be picked up by a specific date and you will not be responsible for anything that happens to the vehicle after that date.
YES, it is true in ANY state EXCEPT CA and FL.,there if its on the hook or in the agents control, its a repo.
Q:Can you get an apartmet with a car repo? A: All apartments come without a car repo option. Sometimes you can negotiate utilities, however
It depends, usually the repo man will come to the dealerships and tell them a price they'll repo a car for. The company I work for charges roughly $150 a car, but if we have to go unusually for to get the car the price goes up accordingly. Like if we have to fly out of state to get a car the dealership pays for the plane ticket plus a few hundred.
YES, but so can I and it wont buy yu a cup of coffee. What they "tell" you to do and what you "can" do maybe be FAR apart. Tell the lender "Good TRY, NO candy bar for you".
The bank/lending company are the ones who repo your car the repo chimps are just their agents.Your bank should tell you.
The person repoing your vehicle should let your sheriff office know about the repo within 24hrs. When they come out to repo your car they should have the contract and a copy of the title. It's the law. You CAN tell them to leave and they should leave. They do NOT have to notify you that they are repoing your vehicle.
Call and have them pick it up. it's called a voluntary repo. Just tell them you are unable to pay and they will come.
That act in itself isn't a crime. However, if you tell a repo agent you don't know where the car is, then the repo agent will report the car stolen on behalf of the finance company (the rightful owner of the car).
can anyone tell me haow I can repo a car that someoone ha not paid for
crashed it! get over it.
Depending on the lender, but usually they wont Repo a car unless you are 3 months delinquent.
Chances are the cops at the gate will escort the repo man to your car and let them take it.
