3 things every car needs to start. 1. Spark (electrical) - Make sure that your electrical system is operating properly. 2. Fuel - Ensure that the right amount of fuel is being delivered. (check your fuel pump, and fuel filter) 3. Air - If the engine is getting too much air, or not enough it will not start. Check for intake leaks and ensure that there are no blocked, or pinched off vacuum hoses. That's the place to start. In modern cars there can be other sensors, etc. that may prevent it, but if you check the things listed you may find a simple fix.
