We all agree that Hitler was not at all the best person in the world, he may have been, in fact, the worst. But you cant leave Hitlers name in vain. We all were tought something that day. We all found that you cant trust advertizeing, like the news. He tought our government advanced battle tactics and most important of all he came up with m1 and m2 missles which could pinpoint locations to bomb. Hitler is not a good person in his deeds, but his leadership in Germany during the 1930s showed his skill as a leader. His contribution in helping Germany to recover from the Great Depression is undoubted. He used the left-wing socialist approach to address the problem, many public work (the world famous auto-bahn) was built not only for the sake of building, but also gave many Germans jobs and a way of earning. Also it is relevent to point out that without Hitler we wouldn't have modern-day maternity leave, also the inventor of the Volkswagon (or at least the idea thereof).
The primary contribution Adolf Hitler made to German society was that he totally destroyed Germany: in 1945, Germany was literally in ruins. Millions upon millions of people were dead. Millions more were homeless and starving (in Germany, not just in the countries Germany invaded). Germany had no economic, no coherent political system, no communications system, no libraries, no schools, no hospitals. In a sense German society did not exist in 1945 and had to be rebuilt from scratch to become modern Germany.
One might mention things that Hitler did ostensibly to benefit Germans before 1939, but faced with the legacy of the National Socialist Dictatorship and what state Germany was in in 1945, such things are laughable at best as "contributions to society."
Hitler made a big impact on society. One of the biggest was when The Holocaust was present. A total of 6 million died during that time including Jews, Homosexuals, Disabled, Blacks, and Jews. He told his soldiers "Have no pity!" Act brutally! Some died of poor living conditions, others were killed, and disease. Hitler wiped out a whole generation. People remember him today mostly because of that. Also, he made Gemany a war machine during World War II. His good and mostly bad doings effected our world back then and today...

He lifted Germany from post war defeatism but what Hitler did to the German people in those years left civilized men and women aghast. Civil rights and liberties disappeared.

Once he took power in Germany, Hitler and his Nazi associates reorganized and rejuvenated German society in dramatic fashion: unemployment fell nearly to zero, businesses grew, social stability increased, pride soared. At the same time, however, aggressive, expansionist plans were laid and then carried out at the expense of the freedom and integrity of other peoples and nations in Europe -- and these ultimately led to the Second World War.
He did lots for Germany- Got them out of the economic crisis, he had the famous German auto-bahns constructed-which provided jobs and a way of earning Increased pentions for the elderly, introduced maternity leave, the idea for the Volkswagen. lead the way in battle tactics and the jet-engine. he was a true leader who had a genuine love for his country.
Hitler made many other people think that all Germans are anti-Jewish or hate Jewish people. He also made many other people think that Germans are all Nazis and bad people, even if they did nothing wrong or their relitives were not Nazis.
Well he started WW2.He was the main aggressor during WW2.He was very successful for over half the war. Then he went kinda crazy.Well he was always crazy, but the combined affects from Syphilis and Meth made it a lot worse.
He show us what a person coming from a poor family full of difficulties is able to do. What he did was not the best, but he had more power than most of the people in history.
Adolf Hitler was a vicious dictator, but he did make some contributions. Hitler discovered that tobacco is harmful to the human body, and boosted the German economy.
Hitler used the Jews and other sections of society as scapegoats, blaming all the problems on them. To Germans at the time Hitler made sense, he united everyone by providing explanations for Germany's problems.
While some Neo-Nazi groups have appeared both in Germany and elsewhere, not all of them consider Hitler's example to be the best course of action. Without some major change in German society, it is unlikely that they would be able to gain a significant and united constituency (especially considering the outcome of Hitler's Nazi regime).
Hitler had a vision of an ideal society, his victims were any people who did not fit in to this vision, be it because of their faith, or their beliefs, political convictions, their parents' or grand parents' faith, their lifestyle or abnormalities.
Hitler used several methods to stay in power including fear, propaganda, and pride. Much of the country, especially the military, where quickly drawn into the false hope of a Utopian society.
The morality (or lack of it) of Hitler's Nazi government was becoming more clear to several Church leaders in Germany by the late 1930's. Some leaders stood-up in opposition to Hitler's policies that sought to purge Jews & the disabled. They were imprisoned. Christian teachings were in contradiction to those ideologies expressed by Hitler and the Nazis. Hitler clearly understood that his views contradicted those of the Church, and sought to first corrupt, then remove the influences of Christianity from German culture & society. The German public was slow to recognize Hitler's goal to destroy the religion of Christianity within the Third Reich.
With the kind of checks in our public system, it is impossible to see the ride of a Hitler personality in our society.
