By far, soccer (called "fussball" in German) is the most popular sport in Germany. Second place is handball, which is like a combination of Basketball (ball control and passing) and soccer (position of goalie, goal net).

∙ 13y agoBy far Germany's number one sport would be soccer (football). The past summer i was in Germany, and they take their soccer very seriously. Another popular sport would be cycling. Also in the winter Olympics, they are big on Bobsledding and Luge. Also when i was in Germany, i happened to talk to someone who said Racquetball was a pretty big sport. Finally Germany takes great pride in motersports such as car racing. They are big on cars. They produce three of the worlds top cars (in my opinion) BMW, Mercedes, and Audi.
