Ontario is not a nation, therefore it does not have a "national" highway.

By far the busiest highway in Ontario is Hwy 401, which crosses the Southern portion from Windsor, through Toronto, along the northern shore of Lake Ontario and extends beyond the Quebec border.

Canada's national highway is the Trans Canada Highway, which branches out and follows several different routes as it cuts across the province.
