It's just something from Twilight,
the Vampires, or, the Cold Ones once were on the Native American's land, and were turning dying humans into vampires, the Native's didn't like it and the Quilete's, the wolfs, made a treaty. A treaty that if the Cold ones stayed off their land, they wouldn't reveal their true identity to the rest of the world.

when i read new moon... it says that another legend claims thaqt Quiletes descended from wolves -- and the wolves are their brothers still. It's against tribal law to kill them. Then there are stories about the cold ones as old as the wolf legend, and some much more recent. According to that said legend Jacob's great-grand father was the one who made the treaty that kept them off their land. werewolves had only ONE enemy..and those were the vampires...
But they are true they could kill you and you better watch out because they are only in California. they go hunt food and i mean you!!! there are ones in san antonoi Texas.when there nervous,when there cold and also when they talk weird like a girl named dulce she was very weird she goes to a creek she in front of us and when were trying to chase is like she does magic becauce she dissapeard and you better watch out!!!!!!!
