It is a basically a means of use to find out all the ip addresses you came across. That is a s basic as i can describe it. It is short for trace route. Unless someone has disabled cookies on there computer you wont find there ip, also, emails and such. Also depends if yours is enabled or not either. It is a big raise on security concerns. Hackers used this process when the BBS systems were still around. YOu can use it to find out collectively who's ip is what, and where. Sometimes the computer you are using it on will only show you limited viewing, you will have to understand command prompt a bit more to further venture in the details. More i cannot say, but this is the internet and age of wide information use it delicately.
