According to my research, Saint Theresa of Avila is the patron Saint of Spain. Similarly, Saint Theresa of Lisieux is the patron saint of Russia, South Africa, and France. It is confusing as there are two. God bless.

Saint Teresa of Avila is primarily remembered for her treatises on Mystical Prayer, which she wrote in obedience to her confessor. In them she recounts her entire spiritual journey, which she was given the grace to both know and understand. She was very humble, obedient, and penitent.
