327
400 - 327 = 73
Putting a 327 crank in a 350 makes it a 327. (3.25") You can't put a 327 crank into a 350 without changing the pistons. The piston would be 1/4" down in the hole, and would have very little compression.
A 350 block with a 327 crank is called a 327. Bore it 60 over and it becomes a 337. Don't know what pop up heads are. Never heard of that.
The 305 shares stroke dimensions with the 350, so if you put a 327 crank in a 305, you'd have a de-stroked 305 with almost no compression. Displacement would be around 287 cid.
400 has a longer stroke
If you mean 327400 then it is 400 = four hundred
4 is in the hundreds place.
it should de-stroke it to something around a 327. it will fit but be sure to check for crank to piston and piston to head cylinder top clearance to ensure you don't run into engine detonation. ummm no 305 and 350 have same stroke a 400 crank would make it a 334... same main and rod journals also stroke is 3.48
Chevy built a 302 in the late sixties. It used a 327 block with a 283 crank.
A 307 is a 283 with a 327 crank. You can look up specific dimensions at mortec.com
Well the answer is 300 since 327 you look to the number to your right which is the 2 If its 4 or less you bring it down but if it's 5 or more you round it up
