The model 87 was made in 1987 only. from your description it sounds like it is in 80% original condition. The value is around $250. BUT there were two versions made. originals and "Seconds" originals had special serial numbers starting with 00XXXX. seconds had standard serial numbers and are worth less

The value of a JC Higgins model 583-1100 16 ga bolt action shotgun with no dents or cracks, just minor scratches on the woodbluing would be in the region of $15-$20. If 80% of the shotgun appears to be in reasonable condition and there is no serial number printed on it, you could look to sell it for $20.

What is the value of a 30 40 krag rifle 90 percent condition walnut stock scope flips off center no dings on stock or scratches on bluing?

A 1898 Krag rifle in good condition is worth between $700 and $1,100 dollars, in unaltered condition. Mounting a scope that requires drilling and tapping for a scope seriously damages the rifle and its' value. Some companies are now restoring rifles that have been drilled and tapped. This is an expensive restoration, but for a valuable heritage arm, is worth the cost. In the condition noted, this rifle is worth about $400.00.
