The cecum marks the beginning of the large intestine and is basically a big pouch that receives waste material from the small intestine.

Also it helps to purify the blood by taking away toxins that have been mad during the day when we are busy and drinki alot of liquids such as water and eat things during hot days like ice cream and duirng cold winter months like hot pasties.

The cecum is located at the start of the large intestine. It receives material from the small intestine and connects to the ascending colon of the large intestine.
