I would suspect that your Constant Velocity, or "CV" joint is defective. If you see tears or breaks in the boots covering the joints, then is almost a sure thing that they are bad and need to be replaced.
wrong! these cars have bad, or should i say poorly engineered, steering intermediate shafts, you can lube them and it will go away, seack the web, you can fix this in fifteen minutes with a five dollar spray can of lithium grease
if clicking is in turns than a front axle needs replaced. if turning right it is your left axle-- turning left it is your right axle!! the clicking is the cv joint in axle.
A loud clicking sound coming from the front of your car when you are driving straight would be the result of a bad CV joint. This is something that should be checked out right away.
all of them do it theres just a bolt on each of the two front wheels that touch when turning all the way
have front suspension checked
press the turning signal idiot
You have a bad CV joint in one of the front axels, and you did not say what side the noise was coming from. If you are smart you will replace the whole axel shaft. and you will get two new CV joints with it as a unit.
A bad cv joint/axle shaft on the front will make a clicking noise when turning.
spyder gears allow the rear or front wheels to rotate at different speeds wich is what wheels do while turning, the wheels travel at dif speeds
if you have a bad axle they will usually make a clicking noise when turning
You did not say what kind of vehicle it is. If it is a front wheel drive, it has drive axles and if the drive axle is going out, it will click especially when you turn the wheels.
Sounds like the shock is loose, or the shock bushing is worn out.
it would most likely be the bearings but in some cases sometimes the axle make a humming noise when traveling at high speeds.(front wheel drive)
