The Engine Control Module (ECM) probably has to be flashed to relearn the new cluster. This is a job for the Mitsubishi dealer.

Local Dealer said they use Mobil standard 5W20. But you can use any brand of oil as long as it is 5W20.
You can buy it at the dealer about $100 i think... Or buy a blank Mitsubishi endeavor key (Transponder) about $20.00 from the internet and have it cut (copy the original) at ace hardware and program the key yourself. Instruction to program is somewhere else here at answers.com Be sure you have two original transponder keys before you buy so you can program it to your car. If only one...you have no choice bu go to the dealer.

I asked this last week at the dealer and was told no. It is not a serviceable part. when i bought the car i was told it is inside the gas tank and to ever have it changed the tank needs to be emptied an removed.
