A fuel inetia switch is a safety device that cuts the power off to the fuel pump circuit in case of a crash or very rough ride such as running off of the road. They are mostly found in Ford automobiles and located in the trunk. You can reset them by pushing in on a red reset button. sometimes they are a little hard to locate ,you may have to open compartment doors or take a small piece of trunk liner out to get to them.
