The best diet for high cholesterol is the one prescribed by your doctor. However as a general rule it is a good idea to start eating well. You can achieve this by including a diet high in fiber, low in fat and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. It is usually recommened that you substitute soy protein for animal protein.

'High Cholestrol' is chiefly the result of poor cholesterol metabolism; millions of egg eating

Frenchmen laugh at any notion of cholesterol being 'bad.' Foods that are high in resveratrol would be paramount, to adjust cholesterol metabolism; choose dark grapes, red wine, or boiled peanuts. Resveratrol may also be supplemented, which is recommended for anyone eating a lot of eggs. Also paramount would be avoiding homogenized milk products, in which the calcium has been damaged in such a way that it is now rendered into small enough shards to be absorbed into the blood stream, where it scars arteries that the cholesterol now sticks to, acting as a band-aid.

Oatmeal is also indicated for 'high cholesterol,' and it's many other benefits make it worth eating, anyway--if you dislike most of the oatmeal that you have ever been served, it may serve you to explore 'Irish' oatmeal, which takes longer to cook, but retains quite a bit of texture; 'Old Fashioned' oatmeal also retains much more texture than 'Quick' or 'Instant,' has more fiber, and is quite easy to buy organically, in bulk--and generally less expensive than the major brand when bought this way.

It should go without saying that all trans-fats need to be avoided at all costs; they are straight poison. Which brings us to your 'pickiness,' which you should take steps to work on. Many people who eat fast food 3 times a day might consider themselves 'picky,' when in fact they are just adjusted to that kind of...well, we hesitate to even call that food. The point is that there are almost always healthy, delicious alternatives available for most anything you might have a problem adjusting to; 'sugar snap' peas are great raw as a vegetable, for instance.

You have the right idea of what you can eat to help lower your cholesterol (oatmeal, whole wheat stuff). but instead of thinking you can only eat that stuff, I think you should just focus more on staying away from the foods that are high in cholesterol.

Anything that delivers the necessary nutrients needed to support a healthy metabolism. Figure it out yourself from those foods that are acceptable to stay healthy. You may use vitamins to ensure it.

We take Vitamins C; D3; Magnesium; Zinc; B-12 Complex; and a Centrum multivitamins.

We don’t eat red meat 🥩 and pork.

We eat poultry and fish.

Dairy: Milk for cereal: Cheerios and Raison Bran

Breads: homemade baking powder biscuits; and commercial Sourdough Wheat from Costco. We also buy Natures Own Bread; wheat and butter bread. We do eat real butter.

Losing weight as a picky eater can seem almost impossible. With aversions to certain foods, a picky eater will stick to what they know they like. While we all have foods that we prefer over others, a picky eater will avoid several types of food, and their choices will be greatly limited by their preferences.

Even though it may seem like an easy problem to solve, anybody who has experienced aversions to particular foods knows how difficult it is to change their preference. Weight loss for picky eaters becomes especially challenging when someone dislikes a wide variety of healthy foods.

Working with a professional can help you understand why you choose particular foods over others. Additionally, they can help you find simple and nutritious food options that can be used as a substitute for any unhealthy choices you might find appealing. Finding healthy substitutions that a picky eater is happy with will result in quick and easy weight loss that is sustainable. Below is a list of tips and tricks picky eaters can use to achieve their weight loss goals.

Reduce calories: In order to lose weight, one must burn more calories than they consume. Therefore, finding ways to reduce calories is essential for fast and effective weight loss. But it’s not about constantly restricting yourself from the foods you love either. Start keeping track of your caloric intake. Then, talk to your nutritionist to find out healthy ways to cut some corners.

Find healthy substitutions: Start with making a list of all of your favorite foods, including as many healthy options as possible. Focus on fresh fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains that you can tolerate eating first. Then, list the less healthy options and find ways to make them a little better. For instance, if you love Pizza (who doesn’t?), replace meat toppings with veggies, substitute regular cheese with cheese that is low in fat, and opt for a whole-wheat crust. This way, you will still get to eat the foods you love and not feel guilty about it afterwards.
