I am just a regular joe, but based on my experience if you could lose 2 to 2.5 pounds a week on a regular basis that would maintain 8-10 pounds of weight losseach month. Over a period of one year you would have lost 96-120 pounds. You need to gradually have your system adjust to the weight loss regiment. This slow pace helps with adjusting your caloric intake, your workout regiment, your body's metabolism, your adjusted lifestyle, your vitamin and mineral balance....
