one of them is how the Worm eats the Bacteria on/under rocks and logs.

Worm = Living Thing

Log/Rock = Non-Living

(A log is a dead tree, therefore it cant grow. A rock just cant grow)

Something that is abiotic is something that has never lived. Something that is biotic is something that has lived or is living. This could include a dead tree, to a live plant, to any animal, regardless of size. A few examples of something abiotic is the soil, rocks, and the sunlight.
