Alcohol is made of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. There are many different alcohols, the main one usually referred to is ethyl alcohol, or ethanol. It has the chemical structure of CH3CH2OH, so it has 2 carbons, 6 hydrogens, and one oxygen.

Answer:Alcohol, by which most people mean ethyl alcohol, can be made by two routes. When we crush grapes, or other fruits, as in preparing wine, we prepare a solution which contains ethyl alcohol in low concentration. By distillation we can concentrate the alcohol. Alcohol can also be made by the reaction of the gas ethylene obtained from the heating with catalyst with water containing some acid. It again is concentrated by distillation. Special techniques must be used to isolate pure, absolute alcohol, to completely remove the water.
