An exaggerated reflex, also known as hyperreflexia, is when the body's reflex response to a stimulus is stronger than what is typically expected. This can be a sign of neurological conditions such as spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, or brain injury. Treatment would depend on the underlying cause.
