Crown-of-thorns sea star and coral polyps, the crown-of-thorns sea star eats the coral polyps, and were once known as doing horrible damage to the reef, but as scientists researched them more, they realized they were doing much good to keep the population of the coral stable, and help leave enough room for other animals to live there too.
