What is and what could have caused a bump next to your nipple that resembles a pimple or mosquito bite if you are not pregnant?

I dont know what it is-but ive got it too....doc told me it was nothing to worry about-but he didnt really know either

you said it resembles a pimple? that could be exactly what it is... a clogged pore. It doesn't necessarily have to be sore like a pimple. When I was pregnant, I noticed a bump on one of my breasts practically on the side of my nipple. My gyno told me it was either a pimple or a clogged milk duct. Turned out it was just a clogged pore.

If you are very concerned about it or if it really bothers you, see you doctor to put your mind at ease.

I asked my doctor about my nipples too. The bumps on your nipples are your glands. They are similar to the pores on your face and you can get a pimple there (it's very painful). When the bumps appear at other times, like when your nipples get cold, it is nothing to worry about, it is just like goosebumps anywhere else on your body. The skin is just puckering up because it is trying to stay warm.

I also have areas on my nipple that are white spots that look like a different kind of tissue. My doctor said it is just that, different kind of skin and nothing to worry about. Everyone's nipples are different. Unless you notice a lump in your breast or the bump lasts for more than a few days you shouldn't need to go see a doctor.
