There is none. England is a specific geographical area, equivalent to Great Britain minus Scotland and Wales.

"England" was often used for England & Wales until the 20th century, but this usage is geographically incorrect and offensive to many in Wales.

England proper was also sometimes considered to include the county of Monmouthshire, but this was finally included in Wales in 1974.

Other Europeans and some Americans often refer to the whole of Great Britain or the United Kingdom (including also Northern Ireland and until 1921 the whole of Ireland) as "England", but this is merely a shorthand like "America" for the United States or "Russia" for the former Soviet Union.
