None - aspirin (and all other human pain medications like Tylenol, Aleve, Advil, Motrin, ibuprofen, acetominophen, etc.) are very toxic to dogs. You can cause a fatal stomach ulcer in a dog with these medications.

If you believe your dog would benefit from pain medication, you should make an appointment with your veterinarian. There are safe and relatively cheap medications available to help manage mild pain in dogs, but it takes a veterinary prescription to get them.

I'm general A 325 mg pill is just fine for a 65 lb dog. (just one, every 12-24 hours) You should also use buffered aspirin specifically. HOWEVER, you should always call your vet to be sure. They'll be able to give you the best advice for your dog's age, breed, etc. To verify this information you can just Google it. (too many links to share) I was looking to confirm my memory was correct and found this question after I did confirm and thought I would share the knowledge. Good luck!

None- dogs are very sensitive to the side effects of aspirin and you could cause a fatal stomach ulcer with it. If you think your dog would benefit from pain medication, you need to talk to your veterinarian and get a prescription for a drug that is safe to use in dogs.

For a 60lb dog, use 1 aspirin tablet (320 mg) or or 4 baby aspirins every 12 hours, if needed. If 1/2 a tablet works, it's alway better to use less, if you can get away with it.

Give the aspirin dose with food. Use buffered aspirin, or regular (non-coated) aspirin only. If your dog begins to vomit or doesn't want to eat, discontinue the aspirin use.

How much aspirin for 5 lb chihuahua?

Be very careful with aspirin - it can be toxic to dogs. Never give it to a cat.It can be toxic if given in high doses of about 30 mg (milligram) per pound of the dog. This means that even a baby aspirin could be poisonous for dogs weighing two pounds or less. An adult aspirin, which is 320 mg, would be toxic for a 10-pound dog. So even 1/2 an aspirin to too much for a 5-lb dog. and they'll live without it - don't do it.

Can you give dog aspirin with amoxicillin?

I'd check with your vet first, aspirin can upset the stomach, not all antbiotics will agree with pets, if your vet gave you the amoxicillin did they mention to give aspirin also? Aspirin not recommended by your vet can be fatal to your dog. Never ever give aspirin made for human consumption to your dogs.

Can you give a dog aspriin?

Yes, but check with your veterinarian first to determine how much to give, or if aspirin is appropriate. Do not give your dog aspirin meant for humans. Specially prepared aspirin for dogs is available in pet stores. Coated aspirin may be acceptable, but check with your vet first. Your vet may also be able to prescribe other painkillers that are more effective for dogs. Do not give aspirin to your dog if it is taking any sort of n-said medication. See your vet for details.
