The Wii is actually better than the kinect because when you play games such as Table Tennis you are holding something that you could imagine is a table tennis racket but on the kinect you use your hands to imagine they are rackets. However in some ways kinect can be better because you dont have to hold anything.
If you would consider what is the control like the the wii is much better.

The Kinect does not need any controller. It will see your full body and creates a skeleton on your body. This means when you move, the kinect game moves as well.
The wii doesnt need any room to play with, the kinect needs quite a lot of space and it needs to see your full body and floor.
