On American television, from 8pm to 11pm Monday through Saturday & 7pm to 11pm on Sunday is considered 'prime time' on the major networks, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX & the CW.

Incidentally, Saturday is the least popular night in regards to prime time. Networks, typically don't focus a lot of their original programming on that night.
