I myself am an avid contributor to the Spyro archive and I love to read the stories there as well. On the bad side, though, certain archives are full of trolls and crackfics (intentionally badly written stories) and the ads...let's just say I recommend AdBlocker or the built in ad remover they give you if you plan to browse this site! All-in-all it was and may still be the number one fanfiction site in the world, according to wikipedia. It is generally English, but you can easily find stories written in other languages.
