Self-diagnosis on the internet is not a very smart thing. In fact doctors have taken to the media to advise people against self-diagnosis online.
The reason for this being because a lot of the time the diagnosis is wrong and may blow up the diagnosis in proportion, making it sound like the patient is in deep danger when in fact they are not. This causes panic and is a serious waste of emergency time when, out of panic, the patient calls an ambulance.
Other times an online diagnosis can downplay the symptoms to make it appear as if the patient is just going through a minor phase when in fact they are going through a serious incident that requires immediate medical attention.
The internet is not a doctor. It is a massive mess of people and their opinions.
