John Deere calls 2 different items they make and sell a 120. One is a stalk shredder used to shred corn stalks left behind after the corn is picked. It is pulled by a tractor. It can also be a John Deere lawn tractor used to mow yards.Aside from the two items previously mentioned, there's also a John Deere 120 excavator.

Just to the left and behind the clutch peddle.
The deck must be slipped beneath the machine from the left, the lift lever locked down and the rear hangers and front hanger plate attached. The belt will take take a 90 degree twist with the front part to the left side.
You have to first get the belt in place, but don't put it over the tightener. This is done easily enough if you slide the deck past all the connection points. Then allign the 2 main arms and pin them in, pin in the weight transfer cable, (connects to the left foot pedal,) and there is one additional connect on the back of the deck, a strange linkage deal. Then put the belt over the tightening pulley and engage it.
on a left hand drive it should be next to your clutch peddle.
