According to Pennsylvania's Child Labor Law the minimum age for employment is 14 years old unless you are employed on a farm or domestic service, then there are no restrictions. If you would like to be a caddy on a Golf course then you can be 12 years old, if you decide you would like to deliver newspapers then you need to be 11 years old and if you want to be famous such as modeling, theater or television then you need to be 7 years old. There are no restrictions on the motion pictures. You need to have a permit (employment certificate) for all jobs except for farm work as it is a requirement. There are three types of employment certificates; (1) General employment certificate - for any minor no longer enrolled in school, (2) Vacation employment certificate - any minor still enrolled ins school, and (3) Transferable employment certificate - 16 or 17 years old minors. Can be transferred between employers (optional).
