Awesome question!

Nature itself produces almost all of the green house gas. Man only produces 0.28% of this gas. 94 to 06% of all CO2 is made by nature.

Oil spills are also a very common natural event. Oil will seep to the top of the earth's surface if left unchecked. These are known as tar pits.

Nature is also capable of destroying forest completely. The largest fire in the United States, which took out a large chuck of Wisconsin on the same day as the Chicago fire, was caused by lightening.

There are (arguably) more trees in North America today then there was when Columbus first came to America. There are unquestionably more trees then 100 years ago here. Trees are growing thicker and faster then they could naturally due to man's selective cutting and forest fire fighting abilities.

The Oceans often spew toxins that will kill off areas of animals within the ocean with poisons that spew from the depths or grow in specific weather.

Nature is often unkind to nature.
