What is one advantage of using an Apple computer instead of a PC?

The general advantage that can be agreed upon is that Mac's have little problem with malware (adware, spyware, viruses, etc) compared to PC's. Mac also is considered a lot faster than PC. But if you're looking for a gaming computer then there are better PC for that. Also PC are better for modifying, and personalizing.

Even though iMacs and MacBooks are more expensive, you will be able to use it longer, It will almost never crash, it comes with awesome software, you can use iCloud, you can text from the computer, the computers are ultralight, AND there is no gigantic box to hide under your desk. Plus a wireless mouse and keyboard comes standard. You will not have to install and update security software, and you will not get a virus. The Mac OSx is easier to use than Windows, is much faster, and is more stable.

The only advantage of using a Mac PC is that you get a brand name of Apple on it.Even that is not an advantage if one is not a 'show Off' kind of person.
Essentially Custom Built or Manufacturer Built and Mac PC have no difference other than the operating system.
Almost every app and program can be used only if you pay for it. On the other hand Windows or Linux PC have so many open source alternatives to the paid program.
Ex: Microsoft Office is Paid and WPS Suite is not Paid and rather a great open source software.

Mac PC /Apple PC do not offer much customization and rather force customer to buy a new device if they want something upgraded.
On the other hand one have full freedom on what you want or what you don't in custom built PC(s). You can Increase or Decrease RAM , Change the modules.Install more storage devices .Use the charger that you used with your last device.Multiple attachment ports etc.

Price Point :
Macintosh PC are highly priced.

Now Laptops:
Macbook air and others in that line are essentially same or less efficient than Razer Stealth,Dell XPS .
