The three most feared Palestinian Terrorist Groups are Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade.

Fatah and Hezbollah are more famous than Islamic Jihad and Al-Aqsa Martyrs but do not qualify for the title "Palestinian Terrorist Group". In the case of Fatah, it has abandoned its major militant wing in favor for a more moderated police force, making it no longer a terrorist group. In the case of Hezbollah, it is primarily Syrian and Lebanese, not Palestinian.

Have Palestinian guerrillas fought against the state of Israel?

The Palestinian conflict goes back many decades, to the time when Jewish guerrillas fought against the indigenous Palestinians. Now that Jews have the upper hand and have successfully declared a state of Israel, while denying the Palestinians the same right, even on the small fragments of territory left to them, we now find Palestinian guerrillas fighting against Israel. This should have been foreseeable, but compromises were not made.

Is the Gaza strip part of Israel?

No. According to the Oslo Accords in 1993, the Gaza Strip officially belongs to the Palestinian Authority. It is currently occupied by the Hamas Paramilitary/Terrorist Group.

Why is Israel building a barrier on the West Bank of the Jordan River?

Israel is not building a barrier on the West Bank of the Jordan River. Israel is building a barrier between 1948-Israel and the West Bank that crosses onto Palestinian territory at numerous points. The barrier is designed to prevent easy access of Palestinians to Israel in order to limit suicide bombings. In this regard, it has proven successful and regions with the barrier have seen a marked decrease in terrorist attacks. However, the barrier has a number of humanitarian costs, like estranging Palestinian families, cutting Palestinian properties in half, limiting Palestinian access to water, and promoting settlement growth. Many Palestinians see it as a way for Israelis to reshape the borders of Israel by taking more Palestinian land.
