Best Answer

Broken down, a pharmacogenesis is as follows:
Pharmaco- medicine; drug
genesis - the origin or coming into being of something

(Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary. Massachusetts: Merriam-Webster Inc., 1998. Print.)

As of the word in whole, I am not able to find. A word similar to pharmacogenesis is pharmacogenetics, which are said to be "'subspecialties' of genetics that deals with the relationship between inherited genes and the ability of the body to metabolize drugs."
