Unopened, feta has a shelf life of roughly 10 months from production. Opened shelf life is generally 4 - 6 weeks if stored properly. In order to get the longest life out of feta, wrap it in cellophane after each use and with new cellophane each time.
Just put the Oregano leaves inside a plastic bag with your RIPED Banana in it. Then seal it. Make sure it's properly sealed. Then put the plastic bag with Oregano and Banana in you Refrigerator. I used to buy them from an Oriental Market when I lived in California. I was told from the store owner that they had a shelf live of 7-10 yrs. (His wife said "they last forever")I would assume in either case this was the unopened bag. They would need to be refrigerated and used soon after opening them.
