you will have to be more specific as to what kind of camaro and engine before you will be able to get an accurate answer. if it helps i have a 96 rs with a 3.8 litre v6 and my bhp is 200 and 225lb/tq with a 1/4 mile time of mid 15's stock. dont know my top speed but have been in excess of 100 mph but not by much. i would estimate the 0-60 time to be around 7sec or so but not sure.
it is 5000 rpms. (3.4 is the v6 1994 camaro.
what engine does it have, the v6 or v8?
426 w/6-speed, 400 w/automatic.
You'll be looking at 300 to 310 horsepower.
The speed is controlled by the computer, on that model you can buy a new computer chip and install it to override the speed sensor and get more horsepower.
what is the top speed of the 1969 camaro
a camaro has more horsepower and torque. 425 hp for the camaro and 350 hp for the mustang.the camaro has excellent comfort.the mustang...not so much. hey guys , ask me questions , cause i am the car guy, i know every thing about cars. your welcome
A 2010 camaro ss with 422 horsepower has a 0-60 of 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 175. These are the specs for the manual transmission version. The automatic only has 400 horses, so it's a little slower. :) ,::,/
Actually the 93 and up Z-28's came with a 6-speed manual transmission. But a 95 LT-1 V-8 engine came with 275 stock horsepower. Hope this helped.
i know a 89 5.0 5 speed iroc ran 14.70 secs, and a 1968 350 4 speed chevelle ran 13.5 secs in the quarter mile, a 1968 camaro 396 4 speed ran 12.60 depends on motor size, driver, and tuning.
uhm no? 87 z28s only had 215 horsepower with a manual 5 speed and 190 horsepower with an automatic 4 speed I'm going to correct the above answer that is grossly incorrect. Please, if you don't know the answer don't bother. Let me do it so I can educate the masses on this type of stuff. Also, before answering use proper English and spelling and correct wording so others like myself can understand you. Thanks. The 1987 Camaro Z28's did NOT all have a 350 TPI. Most had the lowly 305 TPI. The 350 TPI for the 1987 Camaro IROC-Z had 225hp, not 190hp & it had a 700r4 auto/transmission. The 305 TPI Z28/IROC-Z that year had anywhere from 170hp to 215hp which could either be had with a 4 speed automatic tranny or a 5 speed tranny.
Horsepower has NO direct relationship to speed.
The 2006 Yamaha Road Star 1700 has a horsepower of 85 at 4500 rpms. The Yamaha Road Star can reach a total speed of 105 miles per hour.
The 'Q' rating on the tyre represents the speed rating and any tyres that come with a 'Q' speed rating means that the manufacturer recommends a maximum speed of 99mph.
A "T" speed rating means the tire was tested to withstand at least a constant 118 mph....... An "H" rating 130.
all cars are rated by speed rating on tires if tires are speed rated for 180 mph the cars computer will turn fuel off limiting the car not to exceed 180 mph
definitely the z28. the charger has a little more horsepower, but it weighs over 4000 lbs. that's over 500 lbs more than the camaro. LT1 wins this one.
Speed rating applies to a tire rating. It is a standard set by the US government for achieving and keeping a specified speed. A higher speed rating means better car handling.
