There is a short somewhere.
Egi Melgiansyah was born on 1990-09-04.
Relay is located in the Fuse /Relay box on the right wheelwell just next to the battery. It is labeled "egi pump". EGI apperently stands for "you'll never figure out what this means", since it isn't referenced anywhere. ---- EGI = Electronic Gas Injector ~Rin5
In the engine compartment, on the left side, just forward of the left wheel tower, and just aft of the battery is a covered fuse box with all of the large fuses in it. Pull the cover off. The cover has a legend on it that tells you what fuse is which. The first fuse (closest to the center of the car) is the EGI computer. The second one in is the EGI injectors.
this is the 30 amp egi fuse in your fuse box in your engine comp.
"Why does my 1996 Mazda MPV EGI fuse keep blowing I previously had some lighting problems after launching a boat?"
this is the 30 amp egi fuse in your fuse box in your engine comp.
It is in the fuse panel located in the engine compartment, it should be right above the battery. The fuel pump relay is in there, but if I remember correctly, its coded "EGI pump" on the diagram.
The EGI Relay is what you are seeking. Nissan calls the Fuel Pump Relay, EGI=ElectronicFuel Injection. On my stanza I have 2. Some nissanshave 3.Go figure
locate the fuse panel under the hood of your sportage. There is two bigger relays in that panel 1. the egi control relay. 2. the fuel pump relay.
yeh, im sure you can with a bit of experimenting but why do you want to do that?? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes! You can swap a '96 N/A engine into a '90 N/A model. You will have one problem dilema. The newer engine will have what is called "New style injectors. So, you will need to splice "New Style" Injector connectors to your current EGI Wire Harness (wire harness for the injectors and coil packs). Besides that you should be just fine. I always suggest going with newer parts than ever keeping the old and trying to make them work, so I am all for your throwing in the '96 engine in the '90
car will have a hard time starting, or more commonly will not start at all
