Beaver Scouts is youngest age section for some Scouting organizations such as the Scout Association in the UK. Common ages are 6 to 8. Scouts Canada also has Beaver Scouts, called Castors for the French speaking groups. Scout Australia calls this age group Joey Scouts after the kangaroo young. Scouts New Zealand has Keas, named after a parrot. The Boy Scouts of America has Tiger Cubs but they are part of the Cub Scouting division. In the Scout Association, the leader of a Beaver Scout colony is called the Beaver Scout Leader.
