The Group of Seven were artists. They got together in the early 1900's The group of seven wanted to capture the beauty of Canada and inspire Canadians to be proud. Consisted of Tom Thomson, J.E.H MacDonald, Arthur Lismer, Fredrick Varley, Frank Johnston, and Franklin Carmichael. In 1913 A.Y Jackson and Lawren S. Harris joined the group.
