Japanese takes the name for T. rex straight from its Latin name: it transliterates to ティラノサウルス・レックス tiranosaurusu rekkusu. If you were looking for something more Japanese-sounding, I suppose you could take the meaning of "tyrant lizard" and translate it literally, in which case you would get 僭主蜥蜴 senshutokage... but remember that's not an official name!
