1HP = 746 watts 15 HP = 11190 watts = 11.19 kW You would need a generator of at least 13kW. UPS Distributor for 15 Years.
question is incomplete, I think you ask how much current consumed by this motor. for starting this motor we need a star/delta starter and a three phase supply.
10 AC
To do a motor solo run test you need to connect the motor to a power supply. Next, you observe the motor's vibration, temperature, and sounds.
To answer this question the voltage of the motor is needed.

9 megawatts a year
How much KVA generator is required to run two AC of 1.5 tone
Fuel, compression and spark.
Keeping in mind that there is 746watts per Hp should lead you to the answer. For ex. Power(in KVA) = Voltage (1.73)x CurrentTherefore, if you know the voltage, typically 480Vac, then 150(746) = 480 (1.73) x I150Hp(746w/hp) = Voltage x Current= about 135 amps current. Now you also need to factor in the Power Factor (PF) of the load (150Hp). The power factor depends on the type of load. A motor is mostly Inductive, a heater, or lighting bank is resistive, and capacitive loads aren't that common. Your question is a bit vague. If you'd like to rephrase your answer or send it directly to me, I'd be glad to assist you further. You might also want to check out a site called "Mike Holt's Code Forum'. If you're an EE student, I'm sure the path to your solution is in one of your 'Power' books.

A typical tea urn would take 2-3 kW and the kVA would be the same.

max.load that can run on 62 kva dg is of 86 amperes.
I think it can work with a certain type of generator and an electric motor like one that uses 300w/h The idea is to run a generator that can produce more electricity than needed to run the motor that is powering it.
The electrical code book states that a single phase 3 HP motor at 230 volts draws 17 amps. This equates to 3910 watts. Allowing for starting inrush current a 5000 watt generator will run the motor but the generator will labor a bit until the motor gets up to speed. Generators with a higher wattage rating would have less trouble with the starting of the 3 horse power motor. <<>> One hp is 746 watts. 3*746=2238. It takes 3 to 6 times as much energy to start as it does to run.
