It depends on the type. The M203 has a maximum range of 400 meters, but 300 meters would be more practical for firing with any sort of accuracy. The Mk 19 automatic grenade launcher, on the other hand, has a max effective range of 1500 meters, with a max range of around 2100 or 2200 meters.
