There are actually 2 answers to that question. If you simply remove the drain plug and let gravity take over the amount to refill the transmission is just slightly less than 5 quarts. The quantity needed to completely "change" the fluid is that 5 quarts plus the quantity needed to refill the torque converter. I believe that is approximately 3 quarts. However, you cannot do complete change without some kind of pressure system. You should check with the dealer or other approved company to have this done.
